About DECA

DECA is an international association of both college and high school students who through competition, course instruction, community service and business partnerships, become academically prepared, community oriented, professionally responsible, experienced leaders and entrepreneurs. DECA provides real world experience in Business and Marketing through work experience at the student store the Rookery, competitive events and leadership activities. DECA is unique in that students get the chance to network with professionals in the careers they are interested in. Finally, student’s success in DECA has led to awards, internship opportunities as well as scholarship money for college.

Make it count! DECA is a great organization to expand interpersonal skills, network and get real world work experience through the student store.
