Requirements:
The requirements for the scholarship are as follows:
  • the student must have participated in a WIAA sanctioned sport both his/her junior and senior years
  • the student must complete the application that can be picked up in the main office
  • a completed head coach evaluation
  • one letter of recommendation
Completed applications must be submitted by Tuesday, April 26th at 4:00 pm to Mrs. Henschel in the Main Office of SHS.  Late applications will not be accepted.  If you have any questions, see Mr. Hiemark.

Requirements:

Eligibility Requirements. Students must: 1. Graduate from a Washington County high school in Spring 2026 2. Enroll as full-time college student beginning in the Fall of 2026 3. Attend an accredited technical, public or private college/university 4. Have participated for at least one year as a little brother/sister in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program (may have participated in the program in another community; participation must be verified by chapter) 5. Show service involvement/volunteer within the community  Be a resident of Washington County at the time of high school graduation

Please submit one copy of the following materials including this application form: **Please send all documents as pdfs** 1. Brief autobiography including your future plans (limit 1 page); 2. Description of your high school and community involvement including time committed to each; 3. Listing of your academic honors and achievements; 4. One letter of recommendation from a high school instructor; 5. Official transcript from your high school; 6. If awarded a scholarship, you will be asked to submit a thank you letter and photo for WAICU publications.

- Hartford Conservation and Gun Club, Inc. Scholarship
General Scholarship Listings 5/31/2026 $1,000
Requirements:

Must plan on attending an accredited school in Wisconsin or Minnesota (college or technical school). The scholarship will be awarded to a senior based on scholastic achievement, leadership, extra-curricular participation, and character.

All applications must be mailed to the Scholarship Committee and received by May 31, 2026.

Applications are in the high school guidance office.

 

Awards:

Two $1,000 scholarships: 1) is open to any graduating senior from a Washington County, WI high school who plans on attending an accredited school in Wisconsin or Minnesota; and 2) is open to a graduating senior whose parent/guardian is a member of the Hartford Conservation & Gun Club.

Eligibility Guidelines
• Student must be a graduating high school student having completed high school in the

• Student must reside in a residence served by Slinger Electric Utility and/or whose custodial
parent(s) or guardian(s) own a business served by Slinger Electric Utilities.
• Student must be registering and attending class as a full-time student at a two or four-year
post-secondary educational institution in the fall of the year the scholarship is awarded.
