Welcome to Addison Elementary School!

We are delighted to have you here, exploring our school. As part of the Slinger Community, Addison is truly blessed with a supportive school community, exceptional students, and outstanding teachers. Nestled on 42 acres of the Northern Kettle Moraine, just west of Big Cedar Lake, our beautiful school was built in 2002. 

At Addison, our school theme is "T.E.A.M. - Together Everyone Achieves More." We firmly believe that our community thrives on the TEAM philosophy, where together, everyone achieves more. Collaborating and working towards a common goal, we can accomplish great things. Our mission is guided by the idea of teamwork in learning, emphasizing our three core beliefs: Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible.

The teaching staff at Addison remains consistent, with only a few recent additions. However, our dedicated educators have shown unwavering commitment to the Slinger Community. We are embarking on an exciting journey together as we create a memorable year for our students, staff, and school community!

As the principal of Addison Elementary, I feel honored to be entering my 8th year in this role. Before joining the Slinger School District team, I worked in the Kewaskum School District for 12 years. My educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from UW Oshkosh, as well as a Master's degree and Principal certification from Viterbo University. My family (wife and three daughters) and I reside in the Slinger community, cherishing all that it has to offer. Currently, I have two daughters enrolled at Slinger High School and one daughter in her final year at Addison! 

Addison Elementary is an exceptional place for learning and growth. Our caring and compassionate staff are here to support all learners. The facilities are meticulously maintained, providing clean and inviting spaces. We boast numerous athletic fields and spaces, along with two recently updated playgrounds, blacktop play areas, and nature trails winding through our wooded areas. During the summer of 2023, we expanded our school kitchen and serving area, enhancing the efficiency of our lunch service. A tree-lined boulevard serves as the entryway to our school campus, located east of Indian Drive, just north of County Road K.
