Welcome to 5th grade!  This is my 13th year teaching 5th grade at Slinger Elementary School and 14th year teaching in the Slinger School District.  After graduating from the University of Wisconsin--Eau Claire with an elementary education and special education degree, I was hired to teach students with learning disabilites at Slinger High School.  After that, I moved over to Slinger Elementary School, and have been here ever since!  I completed my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction at Marian College several years ago, and continue various types of professional development to broaden and better my teaching.

I have 2 boys myself.  My oldest son Taylor is 8 and is in 3rd grade.  Hunter is 4 and will be starting 4K this year.  Both boys are very active and enjoy many activities which keeps my husband, Tim, and I busy with T-ball, football, soccer, and 4-H.  We also enjoy spending time outdoors, camping, gardening, watching movies, playing games, and just being together. 

In my own free time, I enjoy reading, shopping, gardening, catching up with friends, and running.
