Welcome to the Slinger High School Athletic Department. Slinger is a member of the eight-team Wisconsin Little Ten Conference, sponsoring seventeen sports for both boys and girls. Boys sports include football (click here for Gridiron Club available to 5-12th graders), soccer, and cross country in the fall; basketball, wrestling, and hockey in the winter; track, golf, and tennis in the spring; and baseball in the summer. Girls sports include volleyball, cross country, and tennis in the fall; basketball and hockey in the winter; and track, softball, fastpitch, and soccer in the spring.. There is also a Slinger Soccer Club. The hockey program is currently offered as a co-ed sport. Both the hockey team and the baseball team compete in the North Shore Conference. Students can also participate in cheerleading, dance team, and ski team. The ski team has a competitive schedule, but operates as a club sport.
Here at Slinger High, we are also proud of the fact that we have a very high percentage of our student body participating in at least one sport during the school year. Much of our success can be credited to the wonderful support that we get from our parents, the People Behind the Owls booster club, and the community. Check out our current athletic schedule by clicking on the "SHS Calendar" located on the high school homepage and choosing "athletics". The calendar program will be changing.
