Course Description
1/2 Credit Semester 10,11,12
Students enrolling in this course will study the operation of the vertical mill, horizontal mill, lathe, CNC mill, surface grinder, and casting. Students will be able to safely complete all machine operations to develop their projects. Considerable emphasis will be put on reading precision measuring instruments. Students will be able to use precision measurement instruments to a + or - .005 inch finish performing this on written evaluations and performance test. Additional skills learned will be in blueprint reading and layout. Materials cost to be paid by student.

Prerequisites: Metals I or approval by instructor
